I’m dedicated to helping kids grow both in and out of the gym. Our sessions for ages 5 to 12 focus on fundamental skills, agility, and teamwork in a safe, welcoming environment. At JJ’s, your child will master the basics of boxing and wrestling while building the self-esteem and pride they need to succeed. We have created a supportive community where the focus is on personal growth and the grit of the sport, all without the risk of getting hit back.

Kids Boxing Fundamentals
Our youth boxing sessions are built for kids ages 5 to 12. We go beyond basic exercises to teach real skills like proper technique, footwork, and coordination. By using fun games and team activities, we help kids improve their agility without feeling intimidated. If you are worried about safety, keep in mind that your child does all the hitting. No one hits them back in these classes, which lets them enjoy the sport in a completely safe environment.

Expert Coaching for Young Athletes
Club Wrestling Team
For kids interested in the mat, our Club Wrestling Team offers a professional experience for students in grades K through 8. As a USA Wrestling affiliate, we provide a structured program that focuses on technique, coordination, and peak performance. Our team is led by coaches with decades of competitive and high school experience, including Jerome Jansen’s nine years of varsity coaching. We make sure our young wrestlers develop the mental toughness they need for both sports and life.

I am just as proud of who our students become outside of the gym as I am of what they achieve on the mat. My goal is to use the discipline of combat sports to help kids build resilience and a sense of accomplishment. We keep our environment professional and high-energy so our instructors can focus on teaching rather than paperwork. This is why we handle registration online. It ensures our coaches are 100% present and ready to mentor your child from the moment they walk through the door.
